Gilded Burmese Temple Monks with Offering Bowl, late 19th century

Teak carved figure of a monk from Burmese Buddhist Temple. Newly gold leafed which is common for temple pieces so they are maintained in pristine condition. The monks are standing on a lotus blossum mounted on a wood plinth. (Added later) In superb condition since gold leaf was done just prior to purchasing in Burma 10 years ago. Rear of piece not leafed since it was not seen and gold so expensive for the people.
